He just so happened to be transporting kilos of cocaine, but that’s neither here nor there. ![]() In “99 Problems,” he recounts the story of when he was pulled over for driving while black, somewhere down south. Think about how much money a black man would have to make, in order to still be spending it eight years later. In the song “Dead Presidents,” he claimed he was still spending money from 1988. It’s not unheard of for people who used to be drug dealers to become rappers and make songs about how they used to sell drugs.
